Great Recipes, App Needs Work

This is a wonderful little mag for bakers with easy, well explained recipes, tips and extras. Photos are lovely, results yummie.

However, the app itself needs work. Its very limited and in some frustrating ways. For example, it has no favorites button. So you cant bookmark a favorite recipe and easily find it again. You just have to remember which issue it was in.

And while it may be asking too much of this modest mag, it would be nice to have a little video here and there demonstrating techniques. A digital mag allows for such. Why not take advantage of it?

Which is why I recommend the mag both highly and with some reservations. It is certainly a mag by those who love baking, and that comes through to the reader. With a few more tweaks, my current trio of stars will undoubtedly become five.
